Inevara Pty Ltd (“Inevara”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the STRATUM platform. We are committed to protecting your personal information and complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains how we handle your personal information when you use STRATUM.
1. Information We Collect
We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for providing our commercial property intelligence and professional matching services. This includes:
- Identity information: Full name and, where you are a commercial property professional, your licence or accreditation details and issuing authority.
- Contact information: Email address, phone number, and business address or suburb.
- Commercial property requirements: Property class (office, retail, industrial, warehouse), required floor area, lease term, budget, location preferences, and any specific operational requirements you provide.
- Organisation information: Company name, ABN, and the industry sector in which you operate, where relevant to your matching request.
- Search and activity history: Professional profiles viewed, intelligence reports accessed, matching requests submitted, and engagements initiated through the platform.
- Account credentials: Encrypted password or third-party authentication tokens if you use social sign-in.
- Payment information: Billing details processed securely by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Technical information: Browser type, device type, IP address, and pages visited, collected automatically when you use our website.
We collect information directly from you when you register, submit a matching request, or contact us. We do not collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act) unless you voluntarily provide it in a message.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected or for directly related purposes:
- Matching you with verified commercial property professionals based on your stated requirements, asset class preferences, and transaction type.
- Providing market intelligence, zoning data, and feasibility analytics relevant to your property enquiries.
- Creating and managing your STRATUM account.
- Processing payments for platform subscriptions or premium intelligence reports.
- Sending transactional communications — account confirmations, match notifications, and messages from professionals you have engaged.
- Sending service-related announcements (such as important policy changes or new features), with the ability to opt out of non-essential communications.
- Improving and personalising our matching and intelligence services based on aggregated, de-identified usage patterns.
- Detecting, preventing, and responding to fraud, security incidents, or misuse of the platform.
- Complying with our legal obligations under applicable Australian law.
We will not use your information for direct marketing purposes without your prior consent. You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any marketing communication or by contacting us at [email protected].
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:
Matched commercial property professionals
When you initiate contact with a matched professional, we share the information necessary for them to respond — typically your name, contact details, and the commercial property requirements you described in your matching request. We do not share your full profile with professionals until you choose to engage.
Consented service providers
We engage trusted third-party service providers who process information on our behalf, including our payment processor, email delivery provider, and cloud hosting provider. These providers operate under data processing agreements that require them to handle your data securely and in accordance with this policy. We do not permit them to use your information for their own purposes.
Legal requirements
We may disclose your information where required by law, court order, or government authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Inevara, our users, or the public.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your personal information is stored on servers located in Australia. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/HTTPS.
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest.
- Access controls that limit data access to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.
- Regular security reviews and monitoring.

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you. We will respond within 30 days.

Deletion
You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to any legal obligations requiring us to retain it.

STRATUM uses cookies solely for functional purposes — to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and maintain your session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics that profile you across other websites.
You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, although this may affect your ability to use certain features of the platform. We do not use cookie consent banners because our cookies are strictly necessary for the service to function.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When you close your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required by law to retain it for a longer period (for example, financial records required by Australian taxation law).
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the platform before the changes take effect. Continued use of STRATUM after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
